Grassroots Coalition Backing Democrat Over Denise Coyle In 16th District Assembly Race.
Hillsborough, NJ-- The Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey (WPC-NJ) – a multi-partisan grassroots organization dedicated to electing women to political office – today formally recommended William Kole for Assembly in the 16th Legislative District.
Kole, the only Democrat endorsed by the WPC-NJ in the district, was selected over Republican Denise Coyle.
“It is truly an honor to receive the backing of the Women’s Political Caucus,” says Kole, “In this race – with a woman on the ballot – it is noteworthy that the leading voice for empowering women in New Jersey would look to me as the better choice for promoting equality and enhancing the role of women in our state's policy debates.”
According to its mission statement, the Women's Political Caucus-New Jersey works to “increase women's participation in the political process and ... achieve equality for all women.”
