Andrews Campaign Launches www.FrankDoesntGetIt.com
to Hold State's Senior Senator Accountable
CHERRY HILL -- The Rob Andrews for U.S. Senate campaign today unveiled a new website – www.FrankDoesntGetIt.com – to showcase the many inconsistencies, flip-flops and contradictions of the incumbent senator who once retired but now just can't let go of the seat he wants for life.
"Nothing speaks louder than a man's own words and actions," said Mike Murphy, chairman of Andrews' campaign for the Democratic Senate nomination. "This website lets Sen. Lautenberg's record speak for itself."
From his flip-flops on the importance of debates – he thought they were important in 1984 but not in 2008; to his conveniently failed memory about his support for the Iraq War – he just can't come to admit that he was a cheerleader for George W. Bush's decision to invade Iraq, even saying at one point that, "I'm on the president's train on this one"; to his contradictions on releasing his income tax returns – he deemed it essential for his opponent to do so in 2002, yet he adamantly refuses to release his own this year; Frank Lautenberg is on all sides of many issues.
So you be the judge. Take a look at Frank Lautenberg's words and his record. We think you'll see why, after 24 years, it's time for him to go.
