The Real Losers
The real losers in all this are the voters. When the Presidential Primary moved up so should have the entire Primary - the turnout and results om June 3rd would have been very different. And it would be nice to have democratic voting in this state - in 18 states independents can vote. As there are more indepentents in this state than there are Republicans and Democrates COMBINED, no wonder we get the same old, same old.
#1 L-O-S-E-R
Has to be Rob Andrews!
Murph?
I don't think that Mike Murphy is a loser in this.
While Andrews didn't win, Murphy was able to increase his sphere of influence down through South Jersey.
Murphy will always have his friends in North Jersey, but he is a winner by branching out and becoming a southerner too.
Double dipper Ralph Caputo is a loser
Even though he ran on the same line as Lautenberg who amassed huge pluralities in the 5th freeholder district, double dipping Assemblyman/5th Dist. Freeholder Ralph Caputo barely squeeked by underfunded, no name, Bob Russo.
This makes Caputo a loser in that he will not be able to hold his assembly seat when they go after him next year in the 28th.
Gallac and Bangiola
Gallac ran a decent race and just came up a bit short. Bangiola's race exceeded expectations...cant really call either of these guys "losers"
