GET THIS COMEDY SHOW ON THE ROAD, SAYS ASSEMBLYMAN LOUIS D. GREENWALD

Apparently, the Assemblyman had a revelation today. He came back from the Democrat sponsored spending spree in New Jersey that lasted over 7 years now. This is how Democrats will cut back on their spending spree:
  • Adding $300 million to state aid for schools.
  • $75 million for pre-k expansion.
  • Family Care increased by $193 million, which includes Children's Health Insurance
  • Mental Health and Developmental Disability Support raised by $95 million.
So far Assemblymen and Democrats have saved $663 million. Way to go! Let’s see how else they will cut spending:
  • Seniors receive the same property-tax rebates as last year.
  • Non-senior households earning $75,000 or less receive virtually the same rebates.
  • This represents over $1 billion for 1 million New Jerseyans.
So far Democrats have saved almost $2 billion. Congratulations! Wait a minute! I was wrong THESE ARE ADDITIONAL SPENDING MONEY that Democrats will spend next budget year trying to accomplish the following:
  • Eliminating gimmicks, implementing spending cuts and making government more efficient.
  • Cutting last year's spending by the largest amount in our state's history
  • Creating an Economic Assistance & Recovery Plan that . . .
    • Provided immediate relief for most vulnerable,
    • Dramatically improved the State's business climate,
    • Implemented a jobs growth program for New Jerseyans.

The question is how much more money will this program cost us in additional taxes? Apparently, the same Assemblyman and the same Democrats will cut spending from the last year’s spending that they all cheerfully approved. Now, they will all cheerfully cut spending in order to make our government even more efficient than it was last year.

Can you believe it? I cannot.

IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE IN NEW JERSEY POLITICS
