Ex-N.J. congressional candidate going to jail for threatening a judge

Two Republican congressional candidates from 2000 have gotten in trouble for threatening judges.  Former Franklin Township resident Rocky Flash was sentenced this week to two years in prison for threatening to "beat, torture, impale, dismember and decapitate " a judge in Indiana, according to an Associated Press report.  A former professional wrestler, Flash sought the GOP nomination to run against Donald Payne (D-Newark), but lost the Union County Republican convention to Dirk Webber by a 16-11 vote.  Flash later founded the "Vampire Nation" and ran for President as the candidate of the Vampires, Witches and Pagans Party.  Hal Turner, who sought the GOP nomination to run against Robert Menendez, was arrested earlier this year on charges that he threatened the life of three federal appeals court judges in Illinois.  Turner claimed he was an FBI informant and a five day trial ended earlier this month with a deadlocked jury.
