Lonegan to stump for Christie, Bradley for Corzine
By Wally EdgeOne bit of empirical evidence that conservatives who opposed Christopher Christie in the GOP primary will vote for him on Tuesday: Assemblyman Michael Doherty (R-Oxford) sent out an e-mail today inviting his supporters to join Steven Lonegan at rally in Flemington tomorrow.
Bill Bradley, who represented New Jersey in the United States Senate from 1979 to 1997, will return to the Garden State tomorrow. He'll campaign in Hamilton and Edison for Gov. Jon Corzine's re-election campaign.

Christie has ignored Lonegan for 5 months an now he is looking for support?
Doherty is a smart fellow. He is settingthis up not for Novemebr 3 but for November 4.
The moderate wing of the Republican Party will be destroyed after Christie loses. Lonegan,Doherty and the other conservatives will be ready to take over the Party.
....and he will lose because of his arrogance towards Lonegan and the conservative base of his Party.

The story does not say that Dougherty is haveing Lonegan in for Christie. Dougherty has to win his own election and not worry about CC.
However, if Lonegan actually shows up in support of Christie, that will be the end of his leadership of the conservative movement in NJ and AFP might as well shut its doors.

Sounds to me Lonegan is there to campaign for Doherty who is running in a special election for State Senate. He's nowhere near Christie.
Other than lip service Lonegan has done nothing for Christie and I suspect Christie is just as happy to keep it that way.
