"Republicans Richard Piatkowski and Peter Kothari are the kinds of rough-edged underdog candidates that don't typically get much attention from voters outside of the most dedicated of party loyalists," the Home News Tribune said in endorsing them for State Assembly in District 19 against incumbent John Wisniewski (D-Sayreville) and former Municipal Court Judge Craig Coughlin.

Independent Conservative Jim Poesl nor Independent Barry Adler.
Kothari is a RINO and democrat lite and outside his Indian community - he isn't even campaigning at all. Nice mailers were sent out on his behalf though.
Piatkowski received ZERO support from the county and state GOP committees.
Given those facts and the nasty liberal left wing problems - look for both Independents to win in the 19th; people are that fed up with both parties.
Adler has been heavily advertising and attacking the dems on valid points.
Great Insight...
I checked district 19 has Woodbridge and other heavy Dem towns...Republicans actually win the newspaper endorsement..and the political guru above believes the candidates are not "pure" enough and advocates for some no name independents and makes fun of the GOP candidate for his ethnicity. I think it's pretty obvious why the GOP is in the minority.
