The race for Mayor of Jersey City is four year away, but someone is already in the field with a poll. In a computer automated poll, voters are asked how they would vote for mayor "in light of the recent corruption arrests." Four potential candidates were named: Sean Connors, Sandra Cunningham, Steven Fulop, and incumbent Jerramiah Healy. Additional choices included other and undecided.

the 4 horsepersons?
I figure this is aimed at replacing Healy in the event he's forced from office, so including him in the list is just pro forma.
Would Sandy really give up her seat-for-life midterm for a real job...where she'd have to work? I don't see it.
So that leaves Fulop and Connors, both newly (re)-elected, albeit to offices of varying stature.
Fulop must realize that in a Healy administration crash and burn, he's the favorite by default and I would think his poll would include Dan Levin, either out of respect for his fellow reformer, or just to prove that Dan has no chance.
So, I'm guessing it's a Connors' push poll just to remind us he's available.
Bad form, Sean.
Me thinks thou doth protest too much
Ask Sean Conners if this is his poll and he denies, denies, denies and tells you it is the other guys. There is no bigger self promoter. After years of being openly critical of everyone and everything Heely, he jumped ship and was made a special liaison to the police director and given a position on the board of education so he could keep his cousin and mentor Jerry McCan company. This after he delivered ward d back to Bill Guaghand and ward c to Nydia Lopez. Now with the Heely train wreck fast approaching he openly says he wants to be mayor. Not only did he betray everyone who thought he was anti hcdo but he slaps the hcdo in the face. Your right enoch that this is bad form but this is the real Sean.
