Sources say that State Sen./Union City Mayor Brian Stack will announce next week that he has endorsed the re-election of Gov. Jon Corzine. Stack, who had openly flirted with the prospect of backing Republican Christopher Christie, committed his support of Corzine during a meeting of the Hudson County Democratic Organization today.
Stack pledged his Corzine endorsement at a meeting attended by: Jersey City Mayor and Hudson County Demcoratic Chairman Jerramiah Healy, U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez (D-Hoboken), U.S. Rep. Albio Sires (D-Union City), State Sen./North Bergen Mayor Nicholas Sacco, Bayonne Mayor Mark Smith, Hudson County Executive Thomas DeGise, Kearny Mayor Alberto Santos, West New York Mayor Sal Vega, Assemblywoman Joan Quigley (D-Jersey City), Weehawken Mayor Richard Turner, and others.

But who will he endorse for Senate President?
What a joke!
The fact that Corzine is, with 48 days remaining, still having to work to line up Democrats demonstrates that this is all but over.

You're right
It is all but over. The tide has turned against Christie and momentum is starting to build in Corzine's favor, just in the nick of time.
Stack endorses Codey
He backs Codey 100%.
No way!
A double-dipping, subpoena-laden Hudson County Democrat is supporting Corzine? Get out of town! I can't believe it. What's next? Alex DeCroce will back Christie? Go to Union City and look around town... it's like North Korea. Stack has his name on light pole banners, fence gates. Hudson County is nuttier than a third world dictatorship.
