Speziale heading west to stump for GOP Sheriff candidate

Passaic County Sheriff Gerald Speziale, a Democrat, will be in California on Tuesday helping to raise money for Bill Hunt, a Republican who is running for Orange County Sheriff.  Hunt, a career law enforcement official, ran a strong race against Sheriff Mike Carona in 2006.  Now he is running against the incumbent who took office after Carona was indicted on federal corruption charges.

Hunt on Speziale: "Speziale challenged an entrenched, corrupt administration and won proving that an experienced law man  with the right values and leadership is the right combination to turn an agency around."
