As for the cheap shots from the anonymous fools who don't even have the courage to attach their own names to the nonsense the spew here; the fact that fools like you love Chris Christie is a good reason to believe he's going to lose.

When Jon Corzine decides to take off the gloves and recapture the "Semper Fi" spirit of the US Marine's that is in his bones; he will  politically kick Christie's ass all over this state.

Christie is a hypocritical hack who got his job in DC because he paid for it with money raised for George Bush.   That's ethically corrupt and it's just one of a number of such actions on his part.

All the US Attorney's who had any integrity under Bush were fired.....Christie was sufficiently ethically challenged to keep his job.  That's not a record to be proud of.

Christie is just a another brash bully on a power trip......hell, he actually made Steve Lonegan look good in comparison at their debates.

Those who point to issues re: CC have, perhaps, some legit basis for their comments. No one gets to be US Attorney without playing politics and it's a dirty game. But, CC did do a very effective job, much better than any other US Attorney or NJ Attorney General, to go after corruption in NJ. The monitor jobs he gave to others from the Justice Dept. is a red herring. There's nothing illegal or unethical about it. Corzine was in the Senate when others throughout the country were being awarded the similar deals and he never objected. - If nothing else, at least we should expect Christie to go after the corrupt people in public life. Corzine hasn't been able (or really tried) to move forward on any ethics reforms or corruption probes. You can't overlook the fact that he paid millions to a woman he only dated in what some news sources have called a "settlement". What claim(s) did he settle? Why did he also pay her family member off? What do they know about JC? Here's a guy who doesn't need the money and still can't keep his house in order. You have to believe his moral compass is way off center. - One of them is going to win. I think we give Christie a chance. We already know Corzine's plan: Tax us into extinction.

On that note: President Obama should have stayed in the u.s. senate and run for u.s. senate again or president of the NAACP...President of the U.S. he is not up for that! Obama revealed his true colors at the press conference last week and I am glad he did. I'd rather know who someone is and what they are thinking and not their phony baloney front...Obama couldnt contain his opinions and deeply felt self Wrightgeous opinions about Professor Gates and the stupidity of Sargeant Crowley and the Boston police department...He stepped into it. Thank god...

For way too long Corzine and McGreevey have only represented a few in relation to the the vast majority of citizens...for all of the wrong reasons...empowering county bosses who are going to trial and or will be indicted in the future with their cronies...

Corzine has a long record on substance and has a real record of competent governance.

Frankly, he's been a better governor than a politician!

I believe Corzine is ready to take the gloves off and to commence to start kicking some ass.   I believe his Semper Fi spirit is there and that it will emerge in this campaign!

As bad as things are now for many in New Jersey, they would only get far far far worse for those same people under Bush Repbulican Christopher Hypocrite Christie.

I can't wait to see lots of debates where the actual substance of issues and policies will be the topics of discussion.

He will get chewed up in a debate. he cannot string two sentences together without stammering. I hope they look further into his tenure at goldman and find out maybe he got the ball rolling in the early days of the financial meltdown.

Corzine has way too much of an ego to drop out. I could have told Murphy that long ago. But I'm glad I didn't because now there's just more heat on Corzine for making inappropriate comments. Corzine needs to learn some manners. And morals. Hopefully NJ sees that the person that a politician is says a lot about what kind of politician you can expect.

Why is Norcross telling Corzine to step down and puthis buddy Booker up for Govenor. We all want Corzine to step down, BUT who put Norcross in charge of New Jersey. This guy has been dictating for 30 years. Camden AND Gloucester County Suffer the worse under this mans leadership. I persume Norcross runs New Jersey and decides who gets what job and who gets hired and who gets fired. He protects his buddies and friends anyway he can. So many unemployed people. If you are not in with the click, you can forget working in South Jersey. He may even make a phone call and have you fired.

He has lots of money and favors in his back pocket. Chrsitie isn't much better, and I'm sure he'll be almost as spineless as Corzine, but he's the better of two crappy candidates. And THAT is New Jersey's curse. We almost never get real choices. In either case, the hell we're going to have to pay is coming regardless of which clown runs the circus.

Dems like to say how great a governor Corzine is, or that "Corzine has a long record on substance and has a real record of competent governance" (Nick Lento). I've heard others say similar things. What I love about it is that they make these very general comments but never give a solid example. Where is the Corzine lit that highlights these "accomplishments"?

Corzine may have had lofty aspirations as his inaugural address stated but somewhere he became contaminated by the 'toxic mix of money and politics' He is uncomfortable in his own skin and unsure of his ability to govern. Unfortunately he has surrounded himself with those that have aided in his own selfdestruction, the Katz family, Golding, Farber, Rabner,Milgram, Javier Inclan. He has demonstrated the inabilty to delegate effectively and has subjucated himself to the selfinterests of the NJEA and unions and party bosses.
In a sentence he cannot be allowed to continue. We cannot afford his brand of government
