Whitman backs Christie for GOP nod

Former U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie has picked up another endorsement of a former Governor of New Jersey, although his campaign has not yet made a formal announcement: Christine Todd Whitman contributed $1,100 to Christie's campaign on May 18.

Another Christie contributor is Kenneth Pasternak, the former head of a day trading firm who was exonerated last year after the Securities and Exchange Commission alleged that he overcharged Knight Trading Group customers.  In early 2002, Pasternak actively explored entering the race for the Republican U.S. Senate nomination to challenge Democrat Robert Torricelli.  The SEC investigation began shortly after that.  After a fourteen-day trial, a federal judge cleared Pasternak of any wrong doing. Pasternak contributed $3,400 to Christie's campaign on May 14.

$1,100.00?

That's it??? C'mon Guv, show some love!! It's your party too, remember?;-)

Who knew there were so many liberal Republicans?

Chris Christie Whitman ...

Chris Christie Whitman ... North Carolina, here I come!

Christie Todd Whitman Tax Policy:

Seth Grossman, www.libertyandprosperity.org

1. Promise "across the board" tax cuts--then cut Florio 7% tax on middle class to 6.5%, but cut 2.5% low income bracket to 1.4%.
2. Double-cross conservatives by not having iniative and referendum or term limits as promised. Increase signature requirements to make it impossible to recall bad officials.
3. Whack small business with all sorts of audits to collect unpaid taxes, fees, fines, and penalties from years back. My favorite was the crackdown on the "use taxe" (tax on supplies bought from out of state.
4. Borrow $8.6 billion without voter approval as required by Constitution by having Wall Street husband come up with gimmick of using a shell corporation--the Economic Development Authority--as the borrower. Appoint stooges to Supreme Court to go along with this.
5. Borrow more money without voter approval to speculate in the stock market for pension fund.
I'm sure that Christie Todd Whitman thinks that Chris Christie is her kind of Republican!!!

Birds of a feather...

...always flock together.

Wow, I thought they only shared the same name

It keeps getting better and better! That a girl Chrissy, showed them the type of republican Chris is! Proclaim from High Point to Cape May, "Chris Christie is a RINO just like me"!

“Make crime pay, become a lawyer.” Will Rogers

“God works wonders now and then; Behold a lawyer, an honest man.” Benjamin Franklin

“I went to Law School because I really couldn’t do math or science.” Chris Christie

Wow Wally

Another filler for Friday. My eyes glazed over when I saw "Whitman".

Chris Todd Christie

Another member of the country club sect endorsing one of their own....

The yuppies are all sticking together...

Vote Column "A" - All the way!

"Birds of a feather...always

"Birds of a feather...always flock together."

It takes a winner to know a winner.

How many winners have endorsed your guy besides the Mayor of Lavellette?

How many passports did Bug Eyes process today?

The Clerk wanting to be the LG is almost as comical as her helicopter flights from Teterboro Airport...

Vote Column "A" - All the way!

That seals

my vote for Lonegan. New Jersians have been looking at complete failure since she took office. I would expect nothing different from Christie.

Now, every RINO has endorsed Dumbo the Flying RINO

I guess now that Christie has sealed the deal we don't have to vote on Tuesday. If this isn't a call to march, what is?

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."   Thomas Jefferson

I was leaning toward voting for Chistie...

Whenever Christie Whitman supports someone in a Republican primary, that is a reason to consider my NOT voting for that candidate.
