If you were a legislator, would you vote yes or no on Jon Corzine's campaign finance reform proposals?

It seems that there is no concensus

Not knowing too much about it other than the source, I am comfortable saying NO to anything Corzine has to offer. "You know the tree by its fruit." It is biblical.

ashcroft, gonzalez, mukasey, goodling.....

Ethics is a code word for the people who are not willing or unable to build relationships with people who can help. Let's see...sex for land(unethical) sex for job(ok) sex for influence(depends) sex for money(only if you get married). Money for land( ok, if reported) money for sex(only if married) money for influence( only by check and reported) money for job(unethical) job for job for job( completely legal) Case closed.

Man Overboard!

Yes, I'd throw Jon Corzine a life ring. But where was he on this three years ago. Did he need for the BCDO to meltdown before he could act? Perhaps he could take a clear stand for "clean elections" if it even still exists.

Point is JC was supposed to be the progressive who hated the "faint of heart." Maybe he was lulled into a false sense of security by the fair lady.
