an interesting bunch
Zeitz, Shulman and Kurkowski all have their doctorate degrees and are well-traveled besides being well-educated. Compare that to the provincial flat-earth fundamentalism of someone like Garrett or Smith and his views on gays and abortion rights. All of them would be working with an increased Democratic majority in the House and (hopefully) Pres. Obama and his policy initiatives on health care reform, social security solvency, alternative energy, and a host of other issues. Important work would be done, and the chance to participate in that, and even write some of the bills, as I imagine Adler will do, could make a real, palpable difference for this country.
