Run Chris Run!
It always looks better to beat a big name in the primary when you want to show strength for the general election.
However, Christie's decision will be based on, more than anything else, whether Lonegan is a candidate. If so, Christie won't run. He doesn't have the balls to run against Steve.
Should leave post
While his conviction record is impressive, he must leave office asap if he wants to have a chance to win next year. While he's a good candidate on paper, nobody knows how he'll do on the trail. How will he handle people questioning his motives and integrity? These questions will only grow louder if people feel that he is using his position to advance his own personal interests.
I repeat, Corzine would love to face lonegan. Has his last meaningless publicity seeking lawsuit been thrown out yet?
