In case you missed it: The Record’s reported on Friday that Gary Rose, who was a top economic advisor to Gov. Jon Corzine until the start of this summer, owned stock in a company that benefited by a $1.5 billion bailout of the Meadowlands Xanadu project he influenced.
In case you missed it: as Governor-elect, Corzine pledged a “zero tolerance” policy on members of his administration who personally profit off the workings of state government.
In case you missed it: in his inaugural address, Corzine told voters to “hold me accountable.”
In case you missed it: a recent Quinnipiac poll shows Corzine with an upside-down job approval rating.
In case you missed it: Republicans have not yet commented on the Rose story, although in fairness to them, it was a Friday!

Good news
The days of Republicans being wimps will soon come to an end.
Much Ado About Nothing
So, Rose owns some stock in Goldman Sachs, the biggest investment bank in the world.
Its not like the Xanadu project is going to make-or-break Goldman Sachs.
Did Goldman's stock even go up following the Xanadu bail-out?
Oh hum....
Insider deals are the rule not the exception.
This is a "bi-partisan-equal-opportunity-to-pilfer-the-public-treasury" state. It is set up that way and the abusers are in charge of fixing it so it will not change.
Since the Supreme Court orders so much bull sh--, let them at least fix something with their judicial abuses like order Term Limits and order I & R.
In case you missed it...Bob Sommer worked for Xanadu
In case you missed it, Bob Sommer - whio runs this site -- was paid a small fortune to represent Xanadu.
Corzine Confused
Is Corzine even focused on New Jersey? It seems that everytime he is asked a question he acts confused. Physically he is here but his mind is in Washington. Maybe it will be best for all if he moves on with Obama. This is a difficult State to govern and it is a State that takes all your focus. He seems to have lost the focus or maybe just lost interest. Does he understand the first rule of politics? PERCEPTION IS REALITY ! Let the primary battle begin for Governor! Codey/Andrews? Codey/Sweeney? Codey alone with a Norcross/Adubato alliance backing him? Who would be the Lt. Governor?
ashcroft, gonzalez, mukasey, goodling.....
The birds above are more of a problem to our democracy than all of the elected officials in NJ.
