Josephson will be Obama N.J. counsel

Barack Obama's presidential campaign is expected to name Paul Josephson, a former Chief Counsel to Gov. James E. McGreevey, as the counsel to their New Jersey campaign.  There had been speculation that the post would go to either Angelo Genova or Bill Matsikoudis, the Jersey City Corporation Counsel.  By picking Josephson, the Obama campaign avoids another internal battle like the one that delayed the appointment of a state campaign director.

Are there any real...

attorneys out there that actually practice law or are they all just political hacks enjoying the social club atmosphere their JDs afford them... Obama, do yourself a favor and get real counsel not some Democratic sloppy seconds...

One of the best

I hate his politics, but he is one of the brightest election lawyers in the business. Yes, he worked for McGreevey and Corzine, so one has to question his politics. Yet, you cannot question his credentials.

Further, the Obama camp wants to win, and if you want the best legal mind to help you win in NJ, Josephson is the "go to" guy.

Just ask Mark Sheridan!

"Bright Legal Mind"

The Star-Ledger describes Attorney Josephson as, "a bright legal mind." Mr. Josephson has been listed in the top tier of PolitickerNJ's list of most influential attorneys in New Jersey since 2002.

He is a highly recognized election law expert and his politics, whether one agrees with them or not, actually advances the campaign - both locally and nationally. Obama not only made the right choice, he made the choice to win!
