There's some specualtion that Gov. Jon Corzine will name Jaimee Gilmartin, a veteran Democratic operative and former aide to Richard Codey, as his new Appointments Counsel. Does that mean Michellene Davis is out, or is she getting Brad Abelow's job as Chief of Staff?

Gilmartin
I have no idea who this woman is, but I hear that she is tough.
Jaime's great, knows
Jaime's great, knows everyone and knows how to get things done. She's ideal for this gig and along w zellner another sign gov is hitting stride with his staffing.
Gilmartin excellent choice!!
Gilmartin is the consumate political proffessional. She will be a great addition to the Gov.'s staff.
Agreed
She's top notch. She would be a great pick.
FINALLY...
Well finally the Governor is putting somebody in who knows what it is like to actually work for politicain. She has alot of "street smarts" and remembers her friends but more importantly will remember the Governor's enemies. Great choice!
Gilmartin's motto
Not only does she have "street smarts" she sticks by her motto "Smile... or walk the plank!"
Street smarts don't equal success
in that Gov's office. For some reason smart, efficient people go to work there and leave the Gov's employ looking dumb and distracted. I hope that doesn't happen to this lady. There seems to be a self saboteur somewhere in that operation.
