Stop the presses: John McCain has secured two major Democratic endorsements in New Jersey – support so potentially powerful that it could easily threaten Barack Obama’s 9-point lead in this state. McCain now has the backing of former Waterford Mayor George Fallon and former Warren Township Committeeman (and 2000 congressional candidate) Jeffrey Golkin. Their support could mean tens of Democratic votes for McCain that would otherwise have gone to Obama.

A single-digit lead for a Democrat. In NJ. In June. What a powerhouse.
Do you sense the sarcasm?
Nice try at obscuring the fact that Obama is still underperforming his party's generic ballot.
And McCain still has 2 more cross-party endorsements than Obama has.
Why the obnoxious tone?
How dare a campaign announce endorsements! You're right that this isn't newsworthy, but you just made it so.
