Slighted

U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg flew up from Washington last night to attend a fundraiser for Hoboken Councilman Peter Cammarano, a good friend – but blew off an invitation to attend another fundraising event the same evening for Newark Mayor Cory Booker.

The New Jersey State Senate observed a moment of silence yesterday in memory of Anne Martindell – but not for Ned Parsekian.  Martindell, who served in the Senate from 1974 to 1977, died on Wednesday.  Parsekian, a Senator from 1966 to 1968, died on Monday.  Both were Democrats.

Frank forgot about it.
