The latest controversy among Bergen County Republicans: the hotly contested election for County Chairman has been scheduled for the Jewish holiday of Shavuot. The party’s policy committee met tonight and considered a proposal to extend the voting hours until 10:30 PM, a time that would allow Orthodox Jews to vote – but shot it down by a 6-3 vote.

dumb move
perception is everything in politics. Failure to accomodate any faith group just gives Ortiz's critics more reasons to attack him.
Bergen Dems are writing the script for their ads now. Ortiz and his gang will be branded as nasty and anti Jewish by the Bergen Record and the media. This will also damage Mc Cain in Bergen.
Whoa
Hey if you can't win it on your record - win it by surpressing the vote. Can anyone name who is on the policy committee? I don't think it will make much of a difference with Paulie D and the support of 36 who comes out in full force compared to any other district and Gerry in 39 and Bobs 40 support - Yudin takes it hands down.
Garrett needs to step in
Scott Garrett who will be in a tough race for the 5th and will be running against someone of Jewish Faith and will need support of that growing community in our area needs to step into this.
Some more facts!
Why didn't Yudin bring this 'conflict' up weeks ago when the date was set?
Did you know the Yudin Team asked for Absentee Ballots for the Orthodox Community ONLY? They wanted NO ONE else to be eligible for the Absentees except someone of Orthodox faith - how is that inclusive??
Title 19 requires the re-org meeting be held within 1 weeks of primary. Are the Dem's changing their re-org date which is the same as the GOP? Maybe Loretta will try this move with Joe. I'm sure it'll go over like a ton of bricks!
And, I'm sure Bergen Dem and Gop organizations aren't the only ones throughout the state are holding their re-org on the same date - June 10th.
Maybe Wilson and Cryan should advise all organizations to change their re-org meetings.
"David Shane" doesn't get it.
#1 Mr. Yudin is not on the County Committe. A request was made to Rob Ortiz a while ago by a county committee person from Englewood. Ortiz said: "I'll get back to you." #2 The Democrat party has written into their by-laws that a person who cannot vote because of religious beliefs can vote by absentee ballot. (I understand that Kathe Donovan wisely suggested absentee ballots at the BCRO.) #3 Title 19 says the vote should be 1 week later; Thence the suggestion that we change the time from 4 - 8pm to 4 - 10:30pm. This would have accomodated all voters who could not make it by 8pm for any reason.
David Shame propaganda wont work
These Goebbles tactics wont work. There should be a public apology now before any more damage is done to the Bergen Republicans. We also need the names of those who voted NO.
your facts are wrong folks
This wasn't a policy committee decision, this was the election committee. That committee consists of the Republican county election officials and ONE (1) representative from each candidate. It exists to set ground rules for any election. They met, they discussed, they voted. End of Story.
The idea that this was Ortiz's call or indicative an Anti Semitism is absurd and insulting. I suppose when you have nothing constructive to say, your only option is to demonize the opposition.
Every county organization in the state is reorganizing on this day. How many of them are waiting until 10:30 to do so?
Good Friday
would every county organization reorganise on good Friday ?.
The answer is no. The fact is you had a vote and a chance to extend the hours and accomodate people of faith and you failed. No more excuses.
Let's be fair now, please.
Let's take a step back today. Now you are taking it to a whole new level. I've sat there during County Committee meetings and listened as people read off questions trying to attack Rob Ortiz, I've read the numerous anonymous postings on this site - attacking the Chairman but never, not once, ever backing up the attacks with facts. The fact is Chairman Ortiz's supporters can defend what he has accomplished over the past 10 months. Mr. Yudin's supporters never answer any of the questions regarding Mr. Yudin's record of primaries, and of past divisive behavior causing disunity in the party. And now this. Robert Ortiz is a good person. He doesn't deserve the constant attacks. At this point, his opponents will use anything to attack him. If a tree falls in their backyard, I'm sure someone will says it was Rob Ortiz's fault. It's wrong to constantly make vicious personal attacks. This one takes it to a new level.
We all should look in the mirror and reflect upon what we are doing. Ask yourself if you have the taxpayer at heart. Ask yourself while you are hurling accusations at our Chairman, if you have the good of the party at heart. You know what? The sad fact is, you are so focussed on attacking people - yet you think nothing about the issues. Stop constantly talking about the "I" and start thinking about the "TEAM." What about the taxpayers? While we are spending our energy on this Chairman's election, we could be focussed on taking back the county and the state. You call for unity after Tuesday? Call for it now. Unity? If you really wanted unity, Mr. Yudin would be wanting to work with the Chairman, not constantly running against him. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, this is a squandered opportunity.
Again, look around you. People are hurting, homes in foreclosure, more lay-offs, energy rates going up, soaring gas prices - the American family is hurting. Shall we mention the current state of affairs with the Bergen County Freeholder Board? We are missing the point here guys. It is about the taxpayer - Always has been, always should be. If you don't have the taxpayer at heart - you shouldn't be involved in politics. Period.
the new math
Vin (Jim) ..your math is no better than your facts.
Bob is way behind in his home district of 40 and is even going to lose his hometown of Wyckoff. That alone should tell the rest of the county committee everything they need to know.
As for 39, Sen. Cardinale's endorsement is offset by Assmblywn. Vandervalk and more than a dozen muni chairs who endorsed Ortiz. I also don't know what you're smoking in terms of 36 but i've seen a bunch of D36 people on Board for Ortiz and so far nada for Bob. Even if the rumored Paul D thing happens, Ortiz's support runs much deeper.
Seems like like your taking a page from the Sabrinista playbook. This is only fitting since a pro-yudin website apparently just launched and the domain is registered to the people behind the Sabrin campaign. What's next....shall we label Bob the frontrunner?
Unity after your elections
DMBW. ( Deirdre W), yes its great to be a young political neophite. Statute says that there must be an election. Let it happen and let full county committee have their say. Then you can all sing kumbaya afterwards. Iam sure that if Rob wins that Bob Yudin and Ben Focarino will do more than just accept it. I believe that these two gentlemen will keep their word and help Rob Ortiz be a better chairman. The big question is if the election does not go your way will you do the same.?
Unity if you don't ignore the masses
Why should anyone help? When Ortiz was running he wanted all the support of CC and then turned his back on them by not having a presidential line vote (Rudy went bust), supporting and recruiting other Senate candidates (Andy went bust) when Anne Estabrook (another bust) bowed out and Jersey Joe won the line and lastly trying to enact bylaw changes limiting the number of people on the policy committee. I don't see a lot of personal attacks against the chairman and for those saying we don't back anything up, did you miss any of the following things above? As far as Yudin in the primaries - Bob never took a side, he honored his commitment to the CC and stayed on the line (candidates and chairman come and go win and lose) - he never came out against the off line people and never embraced chairman Talarico’s actions - he stayed the course with the County Committee - maybe he should have been disingenuous like the others - 2 of the candidates spoke up but never left the line and the other said he wont run lower level candidates in a primary but did.
RINO Bob Yudin
I'm tired of RINOs like Bob Yudin trying to run the party. This is the CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN PARTY!
Maybe Bob's RINO tendencies are good for comrade Ferriero-but we shouldn't have anything to do with them in the BCRO.
All talk no action
Where is a "CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN PARTY" member running for Chairman? Oh wait they are too busy losing primaries and throwing bombs like that and not helping with anything constructive regardless who you support for Chair.
Vin - you can't get anything right
but you are amusing as all get out. If you want to talk facts, then let us talk facts.
presidential line vote - You're all wet here. This was first early primary ... ever. There was no provision for it in bylaws so to say that there was supposed to be a convention is simply wrong. Plus, all prez candidates had their own column so there was no "line" to award. The only thing that could have been awarded was the slogan. Guess what? Rudy was the only one who requested it. Even so, Ortiz didn't act unilaterally but polled District chairs who unanimously agreed to allow Rudy to use slogan. This is just another non-issue trumped up by Bob Y to look sinister.
supporting and recruiting other Senate candidates - Anne Estabrook was out the day before the convention and is irrelevant to this conversation As for Andy/Zimmer, Ortiz and other leaders looked to provide another choice. The people of NJ apparently agreed that more choice was better when they chose Zimmer.
trying to enact bylaw changes limiting the number of people on the policy committee - Wrong again Jimbo. These proposed changes didn't come from Ortiz but from a bylaws committee representing a cross section of the org, including anti-Ortiz people and Yudin himself. Also, the proposed bylaws leave the policy committee completely intact in its membership and its function. They simply proposed an additional new exec committee that would be smaller and more efficient.
I don't see a lot of personal attacks against the chairman - then you're either blind or ignorant because Bob hasn't said anything about how good he can be, it's all about how bad Ortiz allegedly has been.
for those saying we don't back anything up, did you miss any of the following things above? - Didn't miss 'em, they're just all wrong. Feel free to try again. I am really enjoying calling you out on all of your misrepresentations. As far as i can tell, you haven't said one thing that is right yet. if you're going to be a shameless shill, be better at it.
As far as Yudin in the primaries - Bob never took a side .... - this is as weak as it gets. As we have all seen, Bob certainly has not been shy about criticizing a sitting chairman. He did not do so last year because it would have been contrary to his own personal interests. When given a choice between his ballot position and the inherent right of county committee to select candidates for the line, Bob chose himself and his ballot position. There is no other explanation.
Funny, this year county committee voted, their choice was honored and Bob was very loud because it suits Bob"s interests to be loud. Last year, county comm was disregarded and disrespected and Bob was eerily quiet. because it suited Bob's interest to be quiet. Bob is simply being opportunistic and hypocritical.
Don't tell me he'll be full time. We can put a chimp in the chair from 9-5 and we'd have a full time chimp. Bob can't raise money and he can't win elections. He has not given the county committee any reason to be confident IN HIM. All he has done is suggest reasons why they shouldn't like the other guy.
This is not the stuff from which chairman are made.
Cant we all just get along
Let’s use some of this energy to fight them Dems - even with subpoenas flying Ferrerio's slates won, we need to educate what I can only call stupid people of Bergen County who keep electing these Dem bums.
this is sad
Yudin is a huge fail. This isn't about "accomplishments" or "plans for the party." This is about destroying Rob Ortiz.
You are all lamerz.
bergenrulz.blogspot.com
Faustino is right
to Millie, Pathetic and Ms Ruiz etc
will you guys all unite if Bob or Ben wins ?
Just answer the question
Rodney King in Bergen
Can we all please get along ? who knows if these folk will accept the results on Tuesday . The bitter attacks by Ruiz etc dont help the cause for unity.
sure
i've never done anything but try to help republicans win in november and i don't imagine that anything will change that. i haven't been lobbing bombs. i'm just talking facts.
Millie
Check ELEC and ask for the NET in fundraising. You may be in for a shock!
This is Ridiculous..
Where was Bob Yudin's ethnic moral compass when Guy Talarico attacked Kevin O'Toole for being Asian?
Quite the double standard when Mr. Yudin never made any noise when Guy ripped Asian Americans like O'Toole, but suddenly cares that Orthodox Jews are going to be unable to vote. In fact, Yudin stuck by Talarico until the very end, something his new employee, Mr. Ajjan wrote in his blog over a year ago:
Ajjan said, "After voting in Clifton during the day in District 34, I spent the evening at the Grand Chalet in Wayne (which old timers like me remember as Beefsteak Charlie's). Spirits were high and a huge, star-studded crowd from around the Garden State turned out to support O'Toole and his team...in addition, this was the HQ for virtually the entire Essex County GOP and many prominent Bergen County Republicans turned up as well, including former Freeholder Lisa Randall, key operatives and fundraisers from D40, Fair Lawn Councilman Ed Trawinski, Assemblywoman Charlotte Vandervalk, and others. Even Duggan and Kahwaty turned up, celebrating their primary win "in exile", while their running mate Bob Yudin remained holed up at the BCRO."
http://www.ajjan.com/2007/06/defeat-for-politics-of-hate.html
Of course this was before Mr. Ajjan did his complete 180 in politics and became the voice behind Sabrin's negative and divisive campaign to try and take out the Republican party.
Leave it up to Bob Yudin to employ Ajjan as his new spinster after George did a good job at alienating almost everybody in the NJ GOP.
Then again, this isn't shocking considering Mr. Yudin once advanced to primary challenge Assemblywoman Charlotte Vandervalk. Great idea, Bob, let's primary challenge the top vote getter in District 39. I live in district 39, nobody is more respected and liked than Assemblywoman Vandervalk.
http://politickernj.com/put-rooney-and-vandervalk-vulnerable-list
As a Bergen County Republican who just happens to be Jewish, I find it offensive that Bob Yudin is using the religion we share to try and score political points. Granted, I am not orthodox though.
I support Chairman Robert Ortiz for re-election. I don't find him to be discriminatory at all and I am upset that he is being viewed that way by some people who would rather throw bombs then unite the party.
Re-Elect Chairman Ortiz. It's about results, not endorsements.
don't know what you're talking about Margaret
please explain
a new low for Yudin
All you people calling for unity should check out the new press release issued by Bob Yudin. It is vile, inflammatory and completely inaccurate.
Posted by George Ajjan (who apparently feels he didn’t hemorrhage enough credibility in the Sabrin campaign), Yudin accuses BCRO chairman Rob Ortiz of snubbing orthodox jewish voters as to next week's reorganization meeting, knowing full well that it is not the case.
Although the press release suggests that Ortiz made a decision regarding the voting hours, Bob Yudin knows that this not true. This wasn’t an Ortiz decision or even a BCRO decision. As I noted earlier in this thread, this was a decision of the Election committee appointed under the BCRO bylaws. Yudin knows this because 2 people attended the meeting on his behalf. Neither Yudin nor Ortiz attended personally but rather appeared through surrogates. Ortiz sent one (not exactly minions); Yudin sent two. Each candidate had one vote on this committee. Thus, Ortiz had no more control over this decision than Yudin himself.
Not content to contort and misrepresent Ortiz’s record, Yudin, and his cohort Rich Miller, have decided to play the religion card…badly. You would think they would have learned after their mentor Guy Talarico sent out that heinous racist piece last year but apparently not.
What’s more, this meeting date is fixed by statute. Yudin has known the date for months. He also knows that It is patently unreasonable to extend voting until 10:30 but instead of raising the issue in a timely fashion so a sensible absentee protocol could have been fashioned, Bob waited until the 11th hour so he could shamelessly (and shamefully) posture. The simple truth is that we’re probably only talking about 20-30 potential votes out of 1100. It’s not the votes that Bob cares about. All he cares about is manufacturing another wedge issue. Whether it is true or whether it is fair matters not. Bob has been wholly unable to develop any reasons why people should vote for him, hence his only alternative is to convince people that they should vote against Ortiz.
Yudin also criticizes Ortiz for Andy Unanue’s Easter Sunday announcement as if Ortiz had anything to do with it. He also conveniently ignores that his new mouthpiece, Mr. Ajjan, made a barrage of phone calls for Murray Sabrin on Good Friday and Ascension Thursday to the dismay of observant Catholics. Moreover, although Bob Yudin purports to fight for the BCRO, he also conveniently forgets that Mr. Ajjan was the driving force behind an anti-BCRO freeholder slate this year and that he fiercely litigated to preserve that slate’s ability to challenge the freeholder slate chosen by the BCRO county committee. That competing slate was challenged and disqualified in an effort supported by Chairman Ortiz. Chairman Ortiz protected the BCRO slate. Bob has hired the people who tried to subvert it.
Yudin’s position in this matter is not only divisive, it is insultingly exploitative to people of all religions. It has no place in this Chairman’s race. It is the latest salvo in a relentlessly negative and personal campaign. Ask Bob how he could issue this release when he knows the decision was made not by Ortiz, but democratically by a distinct and independent committee composed of election officials and one representative from each candidate. Is this the tactic of a leader? Is this someone who would purport to unify the party?
Bob Yudin should be ashamed of himself.
Spinmeisters Sedler and dscgop
Stop spinning. If you want to neutralize the issue, extend the hours and let everyone vote.
Let my people vote
Is this the headlines Republicans want to read in the Record tomorrow.? Dave as a lawyer you should no better.
All Bergen County Republicans will be tainted by this foolish and costly mistake. Just because you could not give up a couple of hours.
glitch
dupe post
not spin, just honesty
This has nothing to do with being a lawyer but as a lawyer I can say that regardless of what you might think of the decision, the decision making process was proper and in accordance with the bylaws. I can also reiterate that regardless of what Bob Yudin would have you believe, Rob Ortiz had no more influence over this decision than Bob Yudin himself.
Read carefully: I never commented at all on the actual decision. My comment dealt solely with Bob Yudin’s disingenuous and reprehensible press release which portrayed this as a decision made by the Chairman when Bob knows full well that this was not the case. That is not spin. Bob purposefully misrepresented the facts in order to try and demonize Ortiz and, to a lesser extent, Focarino. That is not spin either. Because it is not true in the least, I chose to post the facts rather than let him get away with it. Please note that unlike Yudin’s press release, nothing in my comment is factually inaccurate
I am convinced that Bob was more interested in demagogue-ing this issue than in resolving it. He knew about this conflict for weeks yet didn’t raise it until 2 business days before the ballot. If Bob had issued a press release saying he was disappointed in the vote of the committee and wished it had done something more to be inclusive, I’d have nothing to criticize. The 2 days notice might still have represented a logistical challenge, but that kind of press release would have been a legitimate expression of an opinion. Bob didn’t say that though. He went to elaborate lengths to try to create and exploit a hot button issue and cast blame where none existed; all in a desperate attempt to create fear and loathing. His release is fundamentally dishonest, hypocritical and shamelessly exploitative.
I think the press release will actually do Bob more harm than good. I’ve already heard from numerous people of varied faiths who are offended and disgusted with Bob’s tactics. I also think it betrays an egregious lack of judgment that raises real questions about his suitability to be chair, questions which, candidly, I already had.
dscgop
Your blogs are too long.
So far only hysterical postings for Ortiz.
I wonder why, if the guy is so swell then we do not have to worry about his reelection. Yes, there are a few things about Ortiz that we better not say. Like Estabrook, Unanue, and Zimmer. Yes, he is part of the Back to the USSR Chairmen. There is Giuliani for President, a saviour of BCRO and NJ, who faded away faster then Florida's beach sand. In the meantime, our Back to the USSR Chairmen changed the rules of presidential primaries to benefit their candidate. Look where this took NJ. My guess is into a wilderness. Have we stayed with the traditional primary date, we could have been kings on the hill. And there is so much more that it could take a long time to just list them here. In conclusion, Ortiz just cannot make a right decision that would benefit all of us.
thank the Lord
Thank the Lord for sage Wojciech here-he has just enlightened us all by his incoherent thoughts and his failure to grasp the English language.
Hey, Wojciech, how many elections have you won to make you qualified to comment on politics?
Get back to the subject.
Stop sniping at each other. The issue is: An Orthodox Jewish County Committee person from Englewood approached Ortiz and asked that the hours of voting be extended because of the Jeish hoy day. Mr. Ortiz said he would get bacj to him, but he never did. Was he afraid to lose a handful or more of votes? Or is he just insensitive to this one ethnic group?
typos
Sorry about the typos!
Bizarre Controversy
Just change whatever you have to change to meet the needs of the whole community. Period.
The agenda in Bergen County needs to be reform; radical reform.
Pay to play needs to be 100% banned, not just a little around the edges, but 100%.
If the only reason Republicans want to get elected is so they can take over the Ferierro racket; then why should people care?
It's all about patronage, contracts, cronyism and corrupt real estate development/bribery.....is there any one who wants to run for public office to actually serve the best interests of others?
What people need in local governance is competency, honesty and compassion; I don't really understand how there is a Republican or Democratic way to achieve those ends at the local/county levels?
Maybe Bergen County just needs a single REFORM party.....and "a pox" on both the R's and the D's?
From Frederick Douglass
gop lady...you still don't get it
what part of "it wasn't Ortiz's decision" do you not understand?
the only response that Ortiz could have given this person is "it's not my call, it'll be decided by the Election Committee." Would that have changed anything?
you can criticize the decision all you like, but you are absolutely wrong to blame the chairman.
Be fair M.
Plus, you're assuming that this handful of votes were going to go a certain way. From what i'm told, some of these would not have been going the way you apparently expect that they would.
Short enough for you?
Bojangles is a winner!
Living in a small town with no viable Democratic Party makes you an expert on winning uncontested elections. However, have you ever run in a contested primaries or elections? Have you ever run as an underdog in your life? No? That's what I thought. Good luck to you Bojangles in yet another uncontested elections.
Getting back to Ortiz. Do you have any comments on the subject? No? That's what I thought.
Yo VinCognito
Yudin won't even carry Wyckoff, let alone District 40. In 39, Gerry & his raiders have lost control. Paulie D's endorsement may help carry Wallington, but new leadership in Lyndhurst & East Rutherford will help Rob Ortiz. Just take a look at the endoesments on www.bobyudin.com & compare to www.ChairmanRobOrtiz.com , doesn't take a rocket scientist to see where this race is heading.
Why worry if everything is so swell?
I wonder why Back to the USSR Chairman Ortiz worries so much, despite his endorsements and hysterical postings on his behalf here?
Hey WOJO
The word swell went out in the 1950's like your brand of politics. Guess you are wathing too my " I Love Lucy" reruns.
Pray for peace in Bergen
Where is the sweet Harmony ? and what so fun about peace and understanding . These are the questions Bergen Republicans have been asking for ages. Please pray for Peace in Bergen after Tuesday. Please pray that Mc Cain will call for oil drilling in Woi's back garden too
Millie has it all wrong!
Dearest Millie/Pulaski Skyway Conservative/General Pulaski/Gary B:
Does Robert Ortiz pay you by the word?
The only person who can appreciate shopping for another candidate after a BCRO convention has already picked one is someone like you Gary. Paul and all of your wannabe political consultant friends are on this site backing you up. I use the term consultant loosely since there are legitimate people out there who actually make a living at it, unlike you. Does Paul know that you spend hours on end on this site and others writing long-winded and self-serving diatribes that thankfully most people do not read?
When O’Toole asked Yudin to endorse the O’Toole slate, he promised Bob that money would not be spent against him. Unfortunately, Kahwaty and Duggan took the bait and endorsed the O’Toole slate for Senate. O’Toole then recruited Freeholder candidates to run against them in LD40 and actually spent money on them. Kahwaty and Duggan appeared at the O’Toole victory party on Primary Day looking foolish. I do not think that you will find Paul Duggan making that mistake again. Like it or not Gary, Dave, et al, Yudin stood his ground and held the BCRO line together.
Yudin also stood his ground for the BCRO when the BCRI cabal forced a primary that cost all of us money. You were there Gary, waiting your turn at the County Clerk’s office ready to perjure yourself about the signatures on Bob’s petition.
Concerning fundraising, please visit www.elec.state.nj.us, you will find the applicable evidence. Just because he never hires you and Paul does not mean that, he does not raise and spend a great deal of money. Based on your performance on the Rooney for BCRO Chair campaign, you can see why. Put that in your red BCRI cap and smoke it, Millie.
BCRI caps were orange
i wasn't wearing one and just because you say something angrily, it doesn't make it any more credible.
This year Bob Yudin criticizes Ortiz when county convention selection is honored and never questioned. Regardless of whether you think Ortiz should have been involved in statewide effort to ID another potential candidate, the county committee choice was never questioned. Joe P always had the line.
Last year, cat's got Bob Yudin's tongue when Talarico absolutely hijacks candidate selection process and REFUSES to allow county committee to exercise its right to select candidate. Why? Because Yudin is terrified that if he bucks Guy, he will lose BCRO line in freeholder primary. County committee gets the shaft; Bob Yudin looks out for himself.
No other explanation ninja. Can you spell hypocrisy?
(sarcasm alert) Also, excellent move on Yudin's part to hire the guys that litigated against BCRO candidates to try to maintain primary challenge.
short, sweet and pithy, i'd say.
2007 History Lesson
Please note that in 2007 The county candidates were picked by 2 conventions NERO and BCRO and a Primary. Guys candidate of choice was Lloyd ? Remember him ?
District 40 Ninja
If I am the Gary B you are referring to in your post. Please be advised that I ALWAYS sign in under my name like a few other brave souls. I do not have a government job that I need to protect. As to Mr. Yudin's petition, I was not challenging the signatures but who witnessed them. Unfortunately the other two challengers never showed at the meeting and the attorney representing myself felt it was better to drop challenge. In the future, you want to call me out, USE YOUR REAL NAME. At least show you have that much testicular fortitude.
HIstory of 2007; Part 2
(apologies to Mel Brooks)
You don't like facts do you broy, at least not ones that are inconvenient to your pre-packaged rants. I'm not talking about the 2007 county candidates, I'm talking D40.
Remember how Talarico refused to let the D40 delegation select their candidates at the convention last year?
Remember how Talarico said that if D40 held their own convention he would ignore it?
Do you remember how quiet Bob Y was last year while Talarico totally disenfranchised the county committee, selected his own hand picked candidates, embarked on a disastrous primary that he lost by 17 points, costing over $300k in combined dollars that ironically might otherwise have been used to finance Bob's county race?
Do you remember how this chain of events left BCRO in debt and in shambles?
Do you remember how bad it was then?
Do you see how far we've come since then?
I don't see what Lloyd has to do with this.
