The Keansburg Board of Education is under fire for a $740,000 retirement deal offered to their Superintendent of Schools, Barbara Trzeszkowski. The state Attorney General is seeking an injunction to block Trzeskowski’s golden parachute. If the deal winds up in court, the school board would be represented by their attorney, John Bennett, who served as Co-Senate President before a scandal caused his defeat in 2003.

Hoboken
Where is Corzine up in arms over the Golden Parachute that will be given to the Hoboken Police Cheif of $300,000 - and he is leaving cause of all the controversy over the Swat Team and other questionable things.
Now we see.
From the beginning of this fiasco, it was clear that the school board hadn't carefully considered the ramifications of giving this superintendent a contract that awarded her a month of severance for every year of service to the district.
Did someone fail to realize that this was a person who has worked in the district for 40 years?!?!?
Now we see who signed off on the contract. Beautiful.
Still causing problems after all these years.
PS -- The state can investigate all they want. It's a legal contract. It will end up being paid.
Keansburg should dump Bennett
John Bennett is a self absorbed egomaniac.
Shocked.
John Bennett in trouble about an over-payment? Shocking.
Over the last 6 six years
Over the last 6 six years nearly every politician Chris Christie sniffed around, whether R or D, went to jail. Not true for Bennett, in fact he's possibly the only target to get a letter from Christie saying he's clean. Give the guy a break.
When will he go away
Enough of Bennett
