Dr. Murray Sabrin - WILL WIN this Poll and on June 3rd!
Mark my words - Dr. Murray Sabrin is going to W-I-N!!!
Dick Zimmer is a L-O-S-E-R and Joe Pennacchio is a J-O-K-E-R!
Go Murray Go!
It will matter, if Murray wins
If the NJ GOP keeps giving more of the same, it won't matter, and lautenberg will win again. But Murray represents true conservatism and constitutionalism and he WILL matter if he is the republican candidate.
FINALLY
Finally you get an "it doesn't matter" option for dems or apathetic people or people who don't care or whoever. But go Murray!!! Lautenberg will easily win again if Murray isn't the GOP nominee... partially because Murray has Ron Paul and his supporters behind him.
I guess paying his NYC
I guess paying his NYC consultants over 100k thus far helps Sabrin win online polls. The scary part is that they will most likely also make him the GOP nominee in June. I wonder if Joe is playing for State Chairman, and when he'll pull the plug to make sure it happens.
Murray Right On the Issues
No other candidate just makes so much sense. Look at the Wall Street Journal talking about the federal reserve and how they need to stop weakening the dollar today. While Joe still clings to Bushism and Dick Zimmer reminds people how he threw away races in the days before the Ipod, Murray is on target with the issues that affect every New Jerseyan from the working family in the Ironbound to the millionaire in Tavistock. If we followed his policies, we can see lower gas prices, more real-estate stability and a better economy. Ending our ridiculous nation building will reduce taxes and debt and also end the severe boom-bust cycle created by these conflicts. Murray is rational and the right man to elect in 2008.
When Murray Sabrin wins the
When Murray Sabrin wins the nomination, it will be the first "Republican" to run for the Senate in the last 6 attempts under the "Republican" banner. We the voters will finally have a choice and will be able to contrast the differences between Republicans and Democrats. Ronald Reagan made the distinction pretty clear when he said, "Republicans think every day is the 4th of July, and Democrats think every day is April, 15th."
I hope Tom Kean, Jr. was the final remnant of the failed "It's my party, too" Kean-Whitman RINOs.

This is shaking out great.
Unlike all the past elections for a couple of decades, it is the RINO vote that is split and the Republican vote is unified behind Sabrin. It is a dream come true.

Relax Crazy People
This reminds me of the same group of zanies that always took part in every online survey and made it look like Ron Paul would be the next President of our fine country. The reality is that he is a bit of a looney, and those that support him are loud and dedicated, but frankly in a very small minority. The same will prove to be the case with Sabrin and his gaggle of inexperienced, and equally goofy, candidates. While Mr. Paul and Mr. Sabrin have some legitimate points and positions, they are not true Republicans. If they were, they would work within the party to support the party in a constructive and cooperative way. Instead, they use the Republican brand to further their own agendas and beliefs, without regard for the party's health and longevity. If they had a message that was strong enough, it would stand on its own. Instead, they need to destroy the party to achieve their own selfish goals. So, relax crazy people, and please run as independents from now on, you are not welcome in the Republican party until you are truly trying to help further the party, not destroy it.
Re:Relax Crazy People
Sabrin and Paul are not attempting to destroy the party, they are saving it. They are trying to bring the party back to what it used to stand for. Remember when the republican party advocated conservatism? They just want to make the party conservative again. The neocons and "big government conservatives" have destroyed the party. Ron and Murray are saving it by restoring (formerly)republican values of limited government and lower taxes and stable money.
from today's courier-post
In the race for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate, voters do not seem to be widely engaged yet.
Asked to name their favorite to be the GOP nominee, 25 percent of Republican voters picked former congressman Dick Zimmer, 5 percent selected state Sen. Joseph Pennacchio and 4 percent named Murray Sabrin, a college professor.
Twenty percent said they have no preference and 40 percent said they are undecided.
Relax Crazy People
Librarian,
While I agree completely with conservative values of fiscal restraint, smaller government, etc. and there are internal GOP issues, i.e.our current president spends like a sailor on leave, I am for the Party. Ron Paul, Sabrin, and their followers, in my opinion, are outsiders to the party. I disagree that they have the noble cause of saving the party. I strongly believe that they are truthful in their beliefs, and I support some of them, but they are not truly Republicans, they have entered the party in order to get more votes due to having an (r) next to their names, as opposed to an (I). L'tarians are entitled to their platform, but it is not completely in sync with the GOP platform, and they do not embrace it, other than for personal gain.
To my other previous comment, thank you Maxi for your article above, Sabrin has 4% ... but it seems 90% of postings on websites are about him (just like Ron Paul) and every online poll will have him near the top (like Ron Paul) ... because of multiple voting. As I said, you are a vocal and dedicated bunch, but please face it, you are a small minority that does not fit into the GOP. Go your own way and work your tails off to create a L'tarian party of your own, stop crashing the GOP party !!
I pissed
I pissed in my pants because I was laughing so hard. Sabrin actually used THIS poll in a press release to claim that he is leading? ha ha ha ha ha. That is the funniest thing I have heard in months. And possibly the most desperate thing too.
I Pissed
He justified his "front runner" status with 4% and the fact that he put 6 empty suits up against other Rupublican candidates. What???????
How does that make you anything but a
guy who wants to grab power and keep the spotlight on himself.
