Bio: With zeal and industry, ROBERT ANTHONY AGRESTA, a businessman, inventor and public servant, has engaged himself in the endeavor of becoming a valued member of society. Born in Teaneck, NJ, Mr. Agresta has set and achieved many ambitious goals. At the age of 16, Robert, and a high-school friend partnered up to change the world. Robert incorporated his first technology business, teaching himself how to build computer systems and websites. Later on, this knowledge transitioned into WMN, LLC, a media technology startup which he formed contemporaneously with the filing of his first US Patent Application. FN1 Meanwhile, Robert began attending Fordham University to pursue his Bachelor of Science degree in the College of Business Administration, which he was awarded in 2005. By the time he graduated from Fordham, Robert had filed his second US Patent Application FN2, had completed two tiers of fundraising and was marketing WMN’s concept to potential purchasers out of an office in Rockefeller Center. As one of six brothers and sisters, Robert has always been involved in the family business - Benzel-Busch Motor Car Corp - the Mercedes-Benz dealership his father acquired in 1976 when it sold 300 cars per year. Mr. Agresta worked summers during high-school, using his own business start-up experience, to implement new systems and processes and revolutionize Benzel-Busch’s technological infrastructure. After graduating from Fordham University, Mr. Agresta attended a one-year program in McLean Virginia, developed by the National Automobile Dealer Association to teach dealership management techniques. Along with his brothers, Mr. Agresta helped Benzel-Busch sell over 3,000 new and pre-owned vehicles in 2007. Robert was recently named Assistant Vice President at Benzel-Busch Motor Car Corp. Currently, Mr. Agresta is attending New York Law School as a law student in lower Manhattan and expects to graduate in May 2009 with a Juris Doctor degree. In 2007 Mr. Agresta was elected Student Bar Association senator for the the New York Law School Evening Division. Mr. Agresta has been a certified Firefighter in the State of New Jersey for 4-years and is a Volunteer Firefighter in the Borough of Englewood Cliffs where he resides with his family. He has worked closely with numerous law enforcement agencies and non-profit organizations to help better the community; he is an honorary Special Deputy Sheriff in the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department and an Honored Citizen in the The Honor Legion of The Police Departments of the State of New Jersey. During 2006 and 2007, Mr. Agresta worked with Dr. Mehmet Oz and his organization, HealthCorps FN3. Working with Mr. Eric Petrone, a lifelong friend, Mr. Agresta spearheaded a plan to match public authorities and private donors with HealthCorps to install a HealthCorps program in the North Bergen, NJ school system. As of March 2008, HealthCorps is thriving in North Bergen and has expanded to numerous schools including dozens of New York City public schools. In 2007 Mr. Agresta was awarded a citation for exemplary public service by the New York City Council.
