Real name: Dr. Joseph R. Marbach

Bio: Joseph R. Marbach, Ph.D. is currently the Acting Dean for the College of Arts and Sciences at Seton Hall University.  He is an Associate Professor and former Chair in the Department of Political Science and former Acting Chair for the Africana Studies Department.   He was the Co-Director of the Center for Community Research and Engagement (formerly the Institute for Service Learning) at Seton Hall University. Marbach has served on the councils of the American Political Science Association&#39;s Section on Federalism and Intergovernmental Relations and the New Jersey Political Science Association and is a fellow with the Rutgers Ethics Initiative, a project of the Prudential Business Ethics Center at Rutgers Business School - Newark. <br /><br />He received a Ph.D. and M.A. in Political Science from Temple University. His areas of expertise include federalism and intergovernmental relations, state and local government and politics and New Jersey politics. Dr. Marbach is editor-in-chief of Federalism in America: An Encyclopedia, (2006) and has contributed to and edited Opening Cybernetic Frontiers, Transaction Publishers (2004).  Along with several book chapters, Dr. Marbach&#39;s work appears in The Gaming Law Review, Commonwealth: the Journal of the Pennsylvania Political Science Association, and Current Politics and Economic in the United States.  He has also written entries for the Survey of Social Science: Government and Politics Series and the Encyclopedia of North American History, The Sixties in America and the Encyclopedia of New Jersey.
