Two polls show McCain with commanding NJ lead
By Alex Isenstadt, Politicker.com ReporterTwo more polls out Sunday show Senator John McCain with wide leads in New Jersey.
A Reuters/CSPAN/Zogby poll shows McCain at 54% former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney at 23%.
And a survey by McClatchy and MSNBC show McCain with 46%, Romney with 31%, and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee with 5%.
The McClatchy/MNSBC poll also shows Senator Hiillary Clinton leading Senator Barack Obama in the Democratic race 46%-39%.
The McClatchy/MSNBC poll was conducted January 30 - February 1 and has a margin of error of 5%.

What?
What happened to the conservative base of the GOP? Where have they gone?
The February 11, 2008, issue of the American Conservative magazine relates how Joystick John McCain is not a conservative and really sides with the Dems on most important issues of the day. To their credit the AC editorial staff did their homework and looked up the actual record . . . then reported it for all the world to see.
Not only is McCain a big-government, liberty-hating, Wilsonian interventionist, he's also the phony political opportunist in the race, an allegation wholly supported by the facts set forth in detail in the AC article.
As a service to the GOP, you all who intend to vote in tomorrow's GOP primary election here in NJ, read that article before you rubber-stamp the liberal media's choice for the GOP nomination.
The Star-Ledger, the most liberal newspaper in NJ, endorsed Joystick John and Hussein O'Bomber. This makes perfect sense for a liberal Dem newspaper: give the nod to the strongest Dem liberal and the weakest GOP challenger.
If you don't want to aide the biased, liberal media in picking the GOP contender, do like the American Conservative suggests: pull the lever for Dr. Ron Paul, the only GOP conservative in the race.
