He really IS a Democrat!!
I always suspected that John McCain was really a Democrat and now, thanks to Politics NJ, my suspicions have been confirmed! Thanks guys!;-) Â

What Color is the sky, dino?
Pro-Life, Pro-War, Pro-Tax Cuts, Anti-Environment, Small Government Democrats for McCain!
The American Conservative Union gives McCain a lifetime 85 percent rating, and Voteview ranked him as the third most conservative Senator in the 109th Congress.
Just because someone isn't living out on the right wing fringe with you, Dino, doesn't make them a Democrat.
You're too much!
How far up does that steel rod go, Anonymous? I'm poking fun at an obvious type-o in the thread.
And you wonder why I love to make fun of you lib losers so much!

Unless McCain wrote your
Unless McCain wrote your county a check, there is zero reasons to support him.
He wasn't smart enough to beat W. in South Carolina and he won't be smart enough to win a 10 way primary.
Old news
With Mitt Romney in the race, things don't look good for McCain. He's ahead in a lot of polls, but like Rudy, he's already reached his ceiling. He's been running for President for 8 years. Everyone knows as much as they're ever going to know about him. Romney, on the other hand, has nowhere to go but up.

McCain has made his deal
McCain has made his deal with the devil when he passed McCain-Finegold and he could never win the National Republican Nomination. The Religious Right and the 2nd Amendment advocates that make up the Republican base had their 1st Amendment Rights stripped away by his bill and that base will never support him.
I personally think as the story goes, when McCain refused to be released from the POW camp without his men, he knew the odds were that he would be killed as soon as he walked out the door. He built his entire political career on that story. He's the John Kerry of the GOP.
Republican Conscience
It doesn't matter if the
It doesn't matter if the County Chairmen endorse Rudy or McCain.
The delegate votes to win the nomination are in much more conservative states than NJ. These states will support Fred Thompson by wide margins.
Whoa, whoa, whoa!
Now you wait just one minute, Hank.
Say what you want about John McCain's politics because I'm not a huge fan of them either most times, but I'll be damned if I'm going to just sit back and allow you to denegrate what John McCain went through as a P.O.W. in Veitnam by comparing him to a rat like John Kerry who sold P.O.W.'s like McCain up the river!
That is a direct slap in the face to every P.O.W. that has ever lived, faught and died for this country and as someone who professes to be such a staunch conservative, you should be ashamed of yourself.
Left your moral compass at home today, did you?

No RINOs in '08
I am so sick of the NJ Republican Party leaders that will only support the "moderate" or "liberal" Republican candidates. I get so tired of going to the polls and looking at the two candidates (D and R) and not really seeing any difference. IF the NJ Repub Party leaders would get off the Dem fence and support conservative Republicans, they might be surprised at how well they do! Do not settle for a RINO (Republican In Name Only).
