Where is the Kathe is so great crowd now?

Wrong tact. This will only backfire. This should have been decided behind closed doors, but the ineptitude of the Chairman has now made our dirty laundry public. But, last time I checked, Kathe and Lisa are the ONLY Republicans elected countywide. And now you're criticizing them? Hypocracy, thy name is BCRO.

The sad thing about this press release is when Donovan's term for clerk is up again, assuming she's not going to win the primary and especially the general, The Bergen GOP won't hesitate to put her name up again for Clerk.

THe Bergen GOP will act as if they are one big happy family.

Despite anyone the Bergen Democrats put up against her, all the garbage they threw up at her, with the millions spent and the Dem tickets swept - except for her seating. No matter what she had come out ahead.

The Dems will file this press release away for a rainy day for the next election when she runs again. All they have to do is show the public what her happy family Bergen GOP has to say about her.

Just makes you shake your head in disgust.

County Clerks are historicaly popular, they are in office until they die. We've had 3 in BC since about 1964.

Running for an office other than clerk is a different story. Kathe's perceived popularity may or may not transpose itself.Her victory is by no means a sure thing.

BTW, the party was unified before a democratic lobbyist who I won't give the satisfaction of naming reared his head after 36 years of being dormant in BC Rep politics.

He's promising people the world and some of the sheeple of the BCRO are following as sheeple typically do. The man is a professional B you know what artist..and he's good at it. He has caused he Party to self destruct just as it was starting to rebuild(ya gotta start somewhere).

I don't have a problem with Guy Talarico as chair, I do have a problem with not allowing the county committee members decide who should represent the party. Oh, and the excuses will flow from you, how she didn't make an artificial deadline. The Chair can override procedural deadlines. And I also have a problem with "Reagan" Republicans breaking Reagan's 11th commandment. It's an insult to Reagan. But this tactic is typical of people who are desparate. I have no problem with Guy, Todd Caliguire or any other Republican in this state or Bergen County, I have a huge problem with the process that created this mess. But it does speak volumes that the only two Republicans elected countywide chose a different path.

Rich last I checked you lived in Millville, so worry about keeping the Cumberland County GOP on track.

Did you know that Donovan professed unity at our Lincoln Day, but changed her mind once Alan "I gave $1k to Charlie Rangel" pushed her to run?

As you well know, I have been involved in many STATEWIDE campaigns. It's about the party, period. No one is bigger than the party, but some people don't seem to realize that.

So you were involved in many STATEWIDES? So you are one of the guys who ruined the State GOP. Wow thanks.

The stench of disloyalty and coup still lingers over the FIESTA in the minds of
Joe and Jane cc members.

We all turned up for a great event attended no less by a Bush cabinet member to hear and see our candidates being showcased.

We also saw Ms Randall cheer Todd Caliguire from the Piodium and we all went home happy that we had saved valuable $$ in a primary.

Then we all got a kick in the crotch by people who bow to the altar of winning at all costs using vulgarity and thug tactics.
List of Crimes against the Party
1) Organising a coup or putsch while showcasing candidates ( Randall etc)
2) Using the Media to instigate a civil war and inviting the media to watch us
clean our dirty laundry ( Mr Marcus)
3) By staging a Thug like assault on the Process for the media to watch and Report ( Mr. Kaplan)

It is indeed IRONIC that the same elitist Gin & Tonic Wing of our Party want to Reward ILLEGAL alians

Again, this all could have been avoided if the Chair had led properly and allowed a democratic process. Why do we have a county committee? And don't give me the garbage about a January 31 deadline. And what was Kathe supposed to do? Boo Caliguire? Caliguire and Donovan should have gone before the entire county committee for a vote. That didn't happen.
And Dan, unlike you, I am not being led around by the nose by people whose primary motivation is the almighty dollar, not the party. And you shouldn't talk about weak, ineffective campaigns. Just look at who you're hanging around with....they can tell you all about weak and ineffective campaigns

Every statment you make on behalf of the Donovan "team" just shows how much you'd love to cozy up to the almighty dollar. Just ask Alan Marcus and his developer friends. It's not my fault that no one paied you to run your MANY statewides.

You have no clue what is going on in Bergen...over development, strip malls, mega malls, etc. And yes we did follow the process, and yes we are all about the organization, and yes we did put it to a vote, and everyone who lost that vote GOT OUT OF THE WAY (except Michael Cino).

Then Kathe comes along 2 weeks following and says I want to run, then gets her crew up with their orange hats and megaphones and throws a temper tantrum because she was not allowed to run. Why not? She is so good at pushing paper! She should be allowed to run!

And those people you are referring to are doing this for free.

your inexperience is showing. What statements have I made on "behalf" of the Donovan team? If it had been put to a vote and Todd won, then its all over and done with, support Todd. But, again, that did not happen. And to let you in on a little secret, the Chairman did seek advice on this from several other people who told him to open the process. So it was his choice. And now we have a primary.
If you actually believe there is no back side consideration for this effort by people you are working for, then you are dilusional. This is about a pay day.
You don't know me or what I have knowledge of, so how can you say I'm clueless to Bergen County?
In the meantime, run Todd on his merits, and if that's not possible, then have him drop out. Todd is a much better person than that. I cannot fathom why he would allow a hatchet job in a primary.
But then again, I know who's running things, so I'm not surprised.
And look at what you've posted. You've accused me of ruining the party, you've attcked Kathe and Alan and not said one thing positive about Todd or his ticket. That says a lot.
I will support whoever wins, because I like both Kathe and Todd. Can you say the same, especially after your vile posts?

Just for the record Todd Caliguire
did the rounds of all the Republican Clubs before last Christmas to announce his intent.
If Ms Donovan wanted a primary she should have come out of the gates earlier
and announced her intent.

She could have also announced this before the FIESTA Dinner

She never shows up for meetings in the district and expects to be crowned Queen at the 11th hour.
She could have at least informed cc members of her intent before we sat down to dinner.

As for Ms Randall and Mr Kim their actions are also inexcusable and you have some 'hutspa" defending their actions.

Your arrogance has propelled us from the sidelines into the arena into a fight
that we did not want.
Regardless of what you say it is going to be very difficult to put this Humpty Dumpty back together.
