(TRENTON) – Assemblyman Thomas Giblin (D-Essex) released the following statement today on New Jersey’s World War II Memorial:
“The world we know today would never have existed if it wasn’t for the brave men and women who made World War II a victory for freedom over the forces of evil and tyranny.
“While we should have done this much sooner, today’s dedication ceremony was a fitting tribute to a generation that shaped our world for the better.
“This memorial ensures their sacrifices and bravery will never be forgotten by future generations of New Jerseyans.
“Those generations will know heroism first-hand when they visit this proud memorial.”
