WATSON COLEMAN WELCOMES EFFORT TO PROMOTE BENEFITS OF HOUSING REFORMS

(TRENTON) – Assembly Majority Leader Bonnie Watson Coleman today welcomed plans by housing and community advocates to launch a statewide campaign to spread the truth about recent housing reforms and demonstrate how the changes are improving lives across New Jersey.

Watson Coleman issued the following statement:

“Working cooperatively to put quality housing within reach of every New Jerseyan is a must. Policies that stockpile working families in areas rife with poverty and away from jobs are immoral and make it difficult to bring a better future to our children. Political gamesmanship never tucked a child to bed in a decent home in a decent neighborhood with a decent school, so we look forward to working together to ensure hard-working New Jerseyans have access to affordable and decent homes. We can do nothing less.”
