I Thought It Was A “Lie” Ms. Walsh
Secret $30,000 Gift Doesn’t Pass The Smell Test
Fiore Has Asked United States Attorney To Investigate
MIDDLETOWN – Middletown Township Committee Candidate Tony Fiore today made the following statements in response to Middletown School Board Member Pat Walsh’s explanation regarding her unreported $30,000 gift that she now claims to have repaid after calling the accusation a “lie” earlier this week.
Pat Walsh On Monday, October 6th When Questioned About Her $30,000 Gift By A Reporter: “It’s a lie.” See: http://moremonmouthmusings.blogspot.com/2008/10/walsh-dodges-and-attacks.html
Pat Walsh On Friday, October 10th In Her Own Words Again: “I have in my possession sworn statements in depositions that show the personal loan made to me by Cathy Sullivan has been repaid in full.” See: http://www.politickernj.com/jcaliendo/24368/recall-petition-partisanship-wrapped-around-mistruths
“First it was a 'lie' and now it was 'repaid.' The real question, however, is why did she get it in the first place and why did she hide it,” asked Middletown Township Committee Candidate Tony Fiore. “I would also like to know what happened to the funds deposited into Pat Walsh’s personal account from her ‘Friends of Pat Walsh’ account. I have copies of those canceled checks too.”
Other Questions For Pat Walsh:
(1) Did the Sullivan’s, or entities owned or controlled by them, do any work for any vendors of the school board?
(2) Did you participate in any votes or deliberations relating to the lawsuit filed by the Sullivan’s just months after you received more than $30,000 from them?
(3) Did you cast a vote and participate in deliberations regarding the payment of Tom Stokes’s legal fees arising from the bogus claims you filed against him that the taxpayer’s had to pick up the tab for?
