State Department on Military and Veterans Affairs To Give Panel Status of Troops Overseas
(TRENTON) – The Assembly Military and Veterans’ Affairs Committee will take testimony Thursday from senior representatives of the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs on the status of New Jersey Reserve and National Guard units serving overseas.
The committee is scheduled to meet 10 a.m. Thursday, February 26, in Committee Room 13, Fourth Floor, State House Annex, West State Street, Trenton.
The committee also will consider measures to enhance health care services for women veterans, designate May as “Military Appreciation Month” and support the federal “Veterans Health Care Budget Reform Act.”
