ASSELTA/ LITTELL INTRODUCE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT TO REQUIRE GOVERNOR TO RELEASE BUDGET BILL BY JUNE 15

Senators Nicholas Asselta, (R-1), and Robert Littell, (R-24), the Republican Budget Officer will introduce a constitutional amendment Thursday which would require the Governor to make the final budget document public by June 15 of every year. The State Constitution requires that a balanced budget be adopted before the start of the state fiscal year which begins July 1st.
