LEGISLATIVE BLACK CAUCUS HIGHLIGHTS BUDGET PRIORITIES

             TRENTON Members of the New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus held a news conference today, to outline priorities for the 2009-2010 fiscal year.  Caucus Chairman Senator Ronald L. Rice, D-Essex, delivered remarks.

             “Considering the tough fiscal times we’re experiencing on both the State and National levels, it is imperative that funds are available for those members of our population who are not always able to speak for themselves – the poor, unemployed,  homeless, the disabled and seniors on fixed incomes,” said Chairman Rice.  “We have to serve as their advocates.”

Rice Re-Elected as Chairman of the NJ Legislative Black Caucus

TRENTON The New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus recently held its reorganization meeting to discuss new business and elect officers.  Caucus Chairman Senator Ronald L. Rice, D-Essex, released the following statement regarding the meeting:
