(TRENTON) - The Assembly Law and Public Safety Committee today released legislation sponsored by Assembly members Paul Moriarty, David R. Mayer, and Nilsa Cruz-Perez that would strengthen the state's existing ban on using hand-held cell phones in cars and make it illegal to text message while driving.
