KARCHER & PANTER ANNOUNCE $500 THOUSAND GRANT FOR MONMOUTH COUNTY CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER

One site for investigation, assessment and victim services

FREEHOLD -12th District State Senator Ellen Karcher (D-Marlboro) and Assemblyman Mike Panter (D-Shrewsbury) are pleased to announce the approval of a half-million dollar grant from the New Jersey Department of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) to aid in the construction of the Monmouth County Child Advocacy Center.

The $500 thousand grant will supplement a stream of donations raised by the Friends of the Monmouth County Child Advocacy Center toward the $4.5 Million dollar total cost for the facility. The center will be located on land donated by the Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, according to Senator Karcher, vice-chair of the Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee.
