MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP (MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ):  According to Middletown Democrats for Township Committee Patricia Walsh and Jim Grenafege, they join Middletown committeemen Patrick Short and Sean Byrnes in opposition to the Town Center project in the township.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP (MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ): The fact that the Republican-controlled Middletown Committee covered up contamination beneath Town Hall and the Middletown Cultural Center, respectively, is not in dispute.

MIDDLETOWN – Middletown Township Committee Candidate Tony Fiore today made the following statements in response to Middletown School Board Member Pat Walsh’s explanation regarding her unreported $30,000 gift that she now claims to have repaid after calling the accusation a “lie” earlier this week.

A petition drive, sponsored by Republicans James Cody, Kathleen Bjelka and Anthony Testa, was begun Oct. 8. The petition erroneously claims that Walsh "accepted a $30,000 gift." In addition, the petition singled out Walsh as having raised "taxes more than any official in Middletown history." In fact, the petition distored Walsh's record, the candidate said, and is a typical "dirty trick" to distract the good people of Middletown from the real issues, such as taxes and affordability.
