Mark Warren

Mark Warren, a New Jersey Democratic political consultant, is the new Director of Candidate Services at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Warren has worked for numerous New Jersey candidates and has close ties to South Jersey Democrats.  In 2002, he was the campaign manager for Joseph DiVincenzo in a hotly contested Democratic primary for Essex County Executive.  According to an e-mail from Warren, his department "provides support and guidance for the campaign programs of Democratic Congressional candidates, Red to Blue candidates, and Frontline Members" and works closely with campaigns "to ensure their finance teams are adequately staffed and fundraising goals are met."

"He's one of the best. Meticulous to detail.  Smart, loyal, and knows the drill," Democratic strategist Steve Ayscue told PolitickerNJ.com.  "I've always been a huge fan of his."

MT. LAUREL -- The buffet has opened at John Adler’s party at the Mt. Laurel Marriot, and Evesham Mayor Randy Brown is emceeing the ceremonies.

Brown warned the crowd that this race will be tight, as expected. So far, all they have to go by are numbers coming out of heavily Republican Ocean County.

“It’s going to be a long night. Get ready," he said.

MEDFORD -- Former Massachusetts governor and presidential candidate Mitt Romney came to this quaint little one traffic light downtown tonight to help its mayor become a Congressman.

In a short press conference just before attending a private, $1,000 per head fundraiser for Chris Myers at a private residence in Southampton, Romney, who recently founded Free & Strong America PAC, touted Myers a kindred spirit – a fellow businessman suited to carry on the legacy of retiring Rep. Jim Saxton, who was also present.

“Chris is a person who has experience in the military sector, the private sector and the public sector,” said Romney, standing in front of a gazebo in a small park. “All three areas have given him the kind of perspective which gives him a unique opportunity to help the people of this district.”

Mark Warren, a political veteran with close ties to the powerful South Jersey Democratic organization, has signed on as Finance Director for Frank Lautenberg's campaign for re-election to the United States Senate.
