The Gloucester County Republican Party reviewed tax rates supplied by the Gloucester County Board of Taxation and discovered a disturbing statistic. Towns controlled by the Democrat Party had an average increase in the municipal tax rate more than double the average increase of towns controlled by the Republican Party. These are comparing the 2007 rate v/s the 2006 rate.
