Zellner could be headed to Corzine staff

There is considerable speculation today that Adam Zellner become Governor Jon Corzine's new Policy Director.  Zellner, 38, the Deputy Commissioner for Policy and Legislative Affairs at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, ran the New Jersey Office of Smart Growth, and served as Executive Director of the New Jersey Highlands Council.  He would succeed Heather Howard, who has been named Commissioner of Health and Senior Services.

Corzine set to name Howard as Health Commissioner

Governor Jon Corzine is expected to nominate one of his top policy advisors, Heather Howard, to serve as the state Commissioner of Health and Senior Services.  Howard, who served on Corzine's U.S. Senate staff before moving to the front office in 2006, would replace Dr. Fred Jacobs, who has made his wish to leave the cabinet fairly clear in recent months.
