Bush's New Jersey numbers: horrible

President George W. Bush has an upside-down 22%-74% job approval rating among New Jersey voters, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll.  That’s close to his all-time low: 74%-21% in July 2007. Among Republicans, Bush has an approval rating of 56%-39%.

SEN. MENENDEZ: LOSS OF 80,000 AMERICAN JOBS IN MARCH BROUGHT ON BY BUSH ECONOMIC POLICIES THAT HELP THE WEALTHY, IGNORE THE WORK

WASHINGTON— U.S. Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) today reacted to the Department of Labor’s monthly jobs report released this morning, which showed that the U.S. economy lost 80,000 jobs in March, while the national unemployment rate jumped to 5.1 percent from 4.8 percent. This marks the biggest monthly decline in five years. In addition, 67,000 addition job losses were added to February’s total, and the three-month job loss total is 232,000.
