“I hope the freeholder don’t try to skip out on the debate and cheat the public out of the opportunity to question them,” said Republican freeholder candidate Paul Duggan. 

“David Ganz doesn’t even know what he is voting for,” said Calabrese. “Maybe he should read the spending resolutions more thoroughly before he votes on them especially since he is the liaison to the county open space board. He’s in too much of hurry to spend taxpayer money  to realize what he’s spending it on.

If  freeholders Ganz and McPherson did knuckle under to such pressure from Joe Ferriero then shame on them --  they don’t deserve to be freeholders because they put their party boss ahead of the taxpayers.  

“We have to believe that Freeholder Ganz and  Freeholder Bernadette McPherson do not want the public to see the records and they are fearful of having the taxpayers see the connection between their campaign donors and the BCIA consultants who were given tens of thousands of dollars from the BCIA,” said Calabrese, a South Bergen business owner.

“The BCIA is nothing more than a conduit for campaign donations to the Democrat Party in Bergen County and I have written to Freeholder Ganz twice asking him to release the fees the BCIA paid over the last three years,”

The Federal Government’s investigation into Bergen County Democratic Organization lawyer Dennis Oury is a welcome sign that federal oversight has finally arrived to Bergen County, say Bergen’s Republican freeholder candidates.
