Ex-football player drew fraudulent checks on Trenton Dem account

Mark Ingram, who played on the New York Giants team that won the 1991 Super Bowl, will be sentenced today on charges of money laundering and cashng counterfeit checks. He faces up to ten years in prison. Some of the fraudulent checks were drawn on the Trenton Democratic Committee during the 2001 gubernatorial campaign, based on copies of checks used to pay election day workers.
