State Senate candidate Assemblywoman Jennifer Beck today called on her opponent, Ellen Karcher, to join a working group formed by Beck last week to study adjustments to the Farmland Assessment program.

State Senator Ellen Karcher today called the announced massive New Jersey National Guard deployment in Iraq another in a long line of mistakes and missteps made by the Bush Administration that chooses the Iraq War over homeland security here in New Jersey.  Karcher blasted her opponent, Assemblywoman Jennifer Beck, for failing to take a stand against the war.

Karcher issued the call after Beck’s claim that she only did “marketing” for the company was contradicted by QualCare’s 2005 annual report.

KARCHER STATEMENT ON SCHIP HEARING

DUMONT - Senator Ellen Karcher, D-Monmouth and Mercer, the Vice Chair of the Senate Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee, issued the following statement regarding today's hearing on Congressional efforts to override President Bush's veto on the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), a program which provides federal funds to State efforts to offer health care access to the uninsured:
