GUSCIORA PRAISES PROGRESS OF NEW JERSEY OFF-SHORE WIND FARM

(TRENTON) - Assemblyman Reed Gusciora (D-Princeton), the Assembly Commerce and Economic Development Committee chairman, issued the following statement on the release of leases for three off-shore wind projects:

(TRENTON) - Legislation Assemblyman Reed Gusciora and Joan Voss sponsored to make New Jersey the 14th state to allow patients with debilitating medical conditions to use marijuana to relieve severe pain was released today by an Assembly committee.

Under the New Jersey Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act, people suffering from conditions such as cancer, glaucoma, HIV, AIDS, seizures, muscle spasms and multiple sclerosis would be protected from arrest, prosecution and penalty.

(TRENTON) – Assemblyman Reed Gusciora today said that he is redoubling his efforts to protect New Jersey’s coastline from the imminent dangers of offshore drilling after touring areas along the 98-mile stretch of the Mississippi River which experienced serious environmental damage following a collision of a fuel barge and tanker which caused more than 400,000 gallons of fuel to spill.
