Senator Anthony R. Bucco (R-Morris) issued the following statement, which called upon the chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee to hold a series of public hearings into the French-style Democrat scheme to sell off nearly one-half of the New Jersey Turnpike to private investors.

Senator Bucco has spent more than 30 years in public service. He has served as a Morris County Freeholder and as an Alderman and the Mayor of Boonton, his hometown. The Senator was elected to the General Assembly in 1995 and the Senate in 1997 where is now serving his third term. Anthony Bucco and his wife of over 40 years, Helen, have one son, Anthony, and three grandchildren.
