Washington Township - As Jon Corzine continues to insist he is turning New Jersey's economy around, Republican candidates for Assembly in the Fourth Legislative District, Eugene Lawrence and Domenick DiCicco say today's labor report is more proof that the Corzine-Moriarty Team is failing South Jersey's families.
Lawrence and DiCicco cited the recent plant closings in Monroe Township and Glassboro as well as the terrible news of announced layoffs in Logan Township and West Deptford.
"People in this area of the State have been crushed by bad news from Coleman Natural Foods closing to ADM packing their bags for Hazleton, PA and the recent announced closing of the Postal Service's Philadelphia and Logistics Distribution Center and Sunoco indefinitely furloughing workers," Eugene Lawrence said." Rather than allowing the governor to continue to try to spin the news and claim he is turning the state's economy around, Paul Moriarty should invite Mr. Corzine to South Jersey to see the damage their policies have caused to our region."
"Over 1,000 people are about to hit the unemployment line in this region and Jon Corzine is nowhere to be found," Lawrence added. "Corzine has turned his back on the people of this region and Paul Moriarty continues to allow him to get away with it."
"It's interesting Corzine could go to Paulsboro to cut a ribbon yet keep his mouth closed about all the jobs leaving the area," Lawrence commented.
"The Corzine - Moriarty plan to revitalize the state's economy has been a colossal failure," Domenick DiCicco said. "South Jersey's business climate is still in a downward spiral as evidenced by the devastating news regarding the postal facility and Sunoco. It's time for a change in Trenton, starting in the governor's office and in the General Assembly."
"There is definitely a disconnect between what Democrats tell the public about the economy and reality," DiCicco continued. "People are looking for hope, not excuses for why New Jersey leads the northeast in unemployment. Instead of creating events to tell the public about job growth that isn't there, the governor and his South Jersey partner, Paul Moriarty, should be figuring out how to bring business to our state."

Say no to Christie and Corzine. Vote Daggett
Don't by that GOP non-sense that Daggett is a plant funded by Corzine.
Fact is Daggett has no funds at all.
Futhermore, Chris Daggett nailed Christie and Corzine for corruption in 3rd Debate
You really have to hand it to Chris Daggett. Not only did he stand toe to toe with Jon Corzine and Chris Christie he really nailed it to them in the 3rd NJ Gubernatorial Debate. Once again, for the third time in a row, I give this as a notch for Daggett.
Chris Daggett handed it to both Christie and Corzine for corruption saying to fight corruption you need to lead by example.
Daggett then cited specific corrupt activities that Christie and Corzine had engaged in, including illegal campaign finance and pay to play, and neither Corzine or Christie could defend themselves.
Instead, Corzine acknowledges that activity is going on and agrees with Daggett that it needs to stop.
