Washington Township - Eugene Lawrence and Domenick DiCicco, Republican candidates for Assembly in the Fourth Legislative District, said a weekend report in the Courier-Post is just another example of how Paul Moriarty's loyalty to Jon Corzine hurts Fourth District families.
The article outlined mortgage foreclosures in southern New Jersey and the fact that two fourth district communities, Gloucester Township and Washington Township, have been hit with some of the highest foreclosure rates in the region.
"People are out of work, more people in the area are losing their jobs, people are over taxed and they are losing their homes and still Paul Moriarty sits around and does whatever Jon Corzine wants," Eugene Lawrence said. "It's long passed the time for people with new ideas, people that will not march in lock-step with Jon Corzine to go to Trenton and fight for the hard working families of our district. Paul Moriarty has obviously failed. Domenick and I will go to Trenton and get right to work on saving the jobs that are still here while working to create new jobs."
"All these foreclosures are another symptom of the problem," Domenick DiCicco said. "When folks are out of work they can't make ends meet, when hardworking families are over taxed they have trouble making ends meet, when businesses are over regulated and over taxed they go elsewhere. Eugene and I will go to Trenton and work hard to reverse all the problems Paul Moriarty helped create by voting 94% of the time with Jon Corzine."
According to the article a "Rutgers University economist suggests that foreclosures will continue as a result of both the high unemployment rate of near 10 percent."
"We will go to Trenton and work to reverse the $1.34 billion in new taxes Moriarty voted for," DiCicco stated. "We will go to Trenton and work with leadership to make state Senator Kyrillos's call for a special legislative session on job creation a reality because the fact is when people are working it's a lot easier to make ends meet."

Don't by that GOP non-sense that Daggett is a plant funded by Corzine.
Fact is Daggett has no funds at all.
Futhermore, Chris Daggett nailed Christie and Corzine for corruption in 3rd Debate
You really have to hand it to Chris Daggett. Not only did he stand toe to toe with Jon Corzine and Chris Christie he really nailed it to them in the 3rd NJ Gubernatorial Debate. Once again, for the third time in a row, I give this as a notch for Daggett.
Chris Daggett handed it to both Christie and Corzine for corruption saying to fight corruption you need to lead by example.
Daggett then cited specific corrupt activities that Christie and Corzine had engaged in, including illegal campaign finance and pay to play, and neither Corzine or Christie could defend themselves.
Instead, Corzine acknowledges that activity is going on and agrees with Daggett that it needs to stop.
