GOP Gubernatorial Candidate, Assemblyman Richard Merkt, To Make First Campaign Stop In Glouco
By Steve KushAssemblyman Richard Merkt (R-Morris), who announced his candidacy for Governor earlier today, will stump for Gloucester County Republican Freeholder candidates Phyllis Scapellato, Larry Wallace and Dan Roberts tomorrow night at the Woodbury Country Club.
"Like many other Republicans around the state I have been watching the Gloucester County Freeholder race with interest," said Assemblyman Merkt. "I truly believe Phyllis, Larry and Dan have an excellent opportunity to break the decade old stranglehold the Democrats have on the Freeholder Board and look forward to working with Phyllis, Larry and Dan to help them win on November 4th."
