Florham Park, NJ (May 20, 2008) – Due to conflicting reports on the “farming activities” of Dick Zimmer the US Senate campaign of State Senator “Jersey Joe” Pennacchio wants Mr. Zimmer to answer the following questions for the voters of New Jersey:
1) What did you grow on your farm over the last 10 years?
2) Did you have livestock on your farm? If so, when?
3) How many bales of hay were produced on your farm last year?
4) What type of hay did do you grow?
5) How much did your hay sell for?
6) Did you collect sales tax on the hay sold?
7) Where did you report the sale tax you collected?
8) What is the gross revenue of your farm?
9) Do you fertilize your hay fields?
10) How many cuts of hay did you get last year?
11) What type of tractor do you use?
12) If you did not farm your land, who farmed it for you and how much did you pay them?
Pennacchio campaign manager Dan Gallic said, “Any real farmer would know the answers to these questions off the top of his head.”
Joe Pennacchio is a New Jersey State Senator representing the 26th Legislative District.
